Conclusion
As you can see above, both Q-Rite and Hitz Halter are treated to be termite resistant. Q-Rite has more easy to install features. Both have multiple thickness options available. Both have the same EPS foam insulation, however, the film is a bit thicker on the Hitz Halter making it the premium below grade choice, but not without a price increase.
Conclusion: Both are great options, but when it comes down to it, the question is, do you find it worth the price increase of the Hitz Halter in order to gain 1.5 mil in film thickness increase? Can you save enough labor by going with larger pieces? This is something that only you can decide.
